I do...take pictures.
Today (11-15-16) is the month anniversary that I started with Frame Freeze Focus (I sound like a teenage girl talking about a first time boyfriend, ha). And in this month, I've been booked for a fishing trip, post wedding pictures, political parties, and a toddler shoot.
All those experiences were great, and I learned a great deal from every one of them, but this one is different. This time, I was booked by a really close friend of mine.
I've known Yesenia since middle school. We had a bunch of classes together, we were always in the same circle of friends, and we graduated high school together.
When she asked me to take these pictures for her bachelorette party, she trusted me to be able to capture these moments with her girlfriends on one of her last nights out as a "single" girl. I'm still a strong NO on being the lead photographer for a wedding, but I enjoyed every minute of this, and just thinking of how far we've come since high school kids to grown adults was a therapeutic experience for me in the process.
I've never been at one of these before, obviously, so being a "fly on the wall" while trying to catch these moments, in focus, was as fun for me as it was for these ladies.
Having her "hair in the wind" moment.
There were many pictures that I wanted to post, but this is a blog and not a dropbox, so I'll refrain, but this shoot was very fun and successful.
After a successful painting, and wine drinking, session, the bride to be had to clean up to get ready for her next chapter in life.

Slight behind the scenes:
Yessie, I wish you much love and success in your special day and for the rest of your life. Thanks again for trusting, and booking, me, and I can't wait for another 10 healthy, prosperous years of our life to go by, so I can bring up the time you and I beat everyone back to the school parking lot, after a Friday night football game, and we walked around the practice track our, senior year, talking about our individual futures after high school, and what we were going to do. We swore we wouldn't get old, ha. Here we are. Cheers!
