Grindsgiving
I hate math, so I will not throw numbers at you, because I didn't work them out, and even if I did, they would probably be wrong.
But I will bet, out of a long prosperous life, we spend at least a third of it working, or in work related activities.
It makes no sense to be bitter about Monday mornings, and have to wait four days till Friday evening to be excited again.
I was hired for a Candid Moments photography session to celebrate a coworking space's Thanksgiving Lunch.
Grindstone
The place, Grindstone, is sponsored by L&F Distributors. So craft beer is readily available for the members to enjoy when a moment to reflect is needed.
Now maybe, talking about a place being cool to work out of shouldn't involve beer as its first pro, maybe I should have mentioned that they have Moon Beans Coffee in house to get your day started, but it was a party and this is my blog, ha.
But The Grindstone is something way cooler than being able to have a free beer or hot cup of Joe. This place houses the entrepreneur spirit that lies dormant in you, and helps it awaken to take your dreams to reality.
Lawyers, realtors, photographers and videographers, nutritionists and small business owners alike all walk these walls brainstorming their next sales pitch, their next business venture, or simply to finish working on the things already contracted to them.
The concept is simple. A coworking space with amenities to be shared, that includes offices for those that need the extra privacy or personal space. One person might be working on publishing the next story while the other might be finishing paperwork on a house they are selling.
The family atmosphere is something very noticeable when you're around a bit. It was on full display this day for their Thanksgiving lunch.
The jokes and business talks flowed as people packed their plates and enjoyed a joyful afternoon lunch.
A place to be productive, a place to enhance your skill, or pick a new one up altogether from the vast knowledge associated with the members, a place to run your business through, and a place to have a beer, when that's what you need.
